Inspired by the neighbourhood butchers of Paris, Côte de Bœuf is a traditional-style, locally sourced butcher shop. Each week we butcher a couple sides of beef, old-way by handsaw. Our beef and pork is all sourced from one farmer, Frank Batty, who is based in Grey County. There is nothing quite like Frank’s beef in this city.

Pre-order your steaks, roasts or other groceries for pick up or come by the store and slow things downs with a glass of wine (maybe while you shop). Also available for take out or pre-order is our perfect Paris rotisserie chicken and Union’s sticky ribs. We specialize in French charcuterie and cheese and our house made terrines and foie gras will not disappoint. Mustards, olives, cornichons, sea salt, fine olive oil – all the essential Parisian pantry items –the closest thing to shopping at Monoprix in Toronto!

When you’re missing Paris our bar á vin can substitute. You can’t drink on the street and feed the pigeons cigarette butts, but from Wednesday through Saturday evenings you can tuck into oysters, charcuterie, french cheese, great wine, and cold beer. We do it all day on Sunday.

We are Located right on Ossington between Dundas and Queen.

We are open late Wednesday till Sunday so come by and have some wine and charcuterie – you will love it.
